Whether you are an experienced fisherman, or you have never had the experience of casting into a vastly populated river of rainbow's, Fishing the Bow is not like any other river I have come across in my life. When I first came to Calgary and fished this river, I could not leave. I decided to move here, and I have been fishing this river ever since. 20 years later, I never get tired of packing all my gear up to go fishing.

The fish here are generally rainbow and brown trout. The river has average 2500 fish per mile. The Bow is known world wide for some of the best fly fishing known to man. The highlight of the day, is to hook and land a bright rainbow or a very shy Brown trout on a size 16 or 18 pale morning dun. Some of the pictures shown here are from the same day, and leaving the BowRiver without hooking a fish is very uncommon. Your choice of wading in the river, or drifting down the river in a boat, makes this experience next to none
